Combining Hardware to great results

This month we received submissions from customers who finished a shed, gates and colorful garage doors with a combination of products…let’s dive in!

First, these colorful garage doors feature 12″ Galvanized Steel Heavy Duty Strap Hinges with Midnight Black Bronze slide bolts to keep them closed.

Next we received photos of several different gate set-ups from our winning customer – all using the tried and true Ring, in latch and dummy forms.

We love the vertical variations on the wood of these first gates – and the stunning beauty of the wood!

Next, we have a shed next to a gate…in this case, we see the handle side of the Contemporary Ring Gate Latch (the latching side is on the outside, so the gate opens out from this area) along with the gate stop* as well as a shed with a pair of Dummy Ring Handles and a Midnight Bronze Lockable Flip Latch.

Lastly, both sides of a lovely Ring-latched gate with a sneak peek of the horizontal fence.

The outside also features an adjustable Brutus tension spring to encourage gate closure.

*You know we can never miss an opportunity to tout the importance of a gate stop! Gate stops are included in all of our packages – and for good reason! You can read more about them in this blog post (and parts 2 and 3), but in short, your latch-arm and catch are meant to latch the gate, not stop it; a gate stop will – and will protect your hardware from damage caused by a gate slamming shut (not to mention, keep your warranty valid).
