All of the photo submissions this month just happened to be in the always sleek black: a couple of Nero Contemporary Lever Latches, and a Contemporary Ring Latch with Ball-Bearing Hinges – but up first, a Bronze Slide Bolt in Midnight…let’s dive in!
Then a copper-topped arbor and gate with a Contemporary Ring Gate Latch. On this side, you can see the ball-bearing hinges as well as the latching arm.

On this side, you can also see the gate stop. Gate stops are included in all of our packages – and for good reason! You can read more about them in this blog post (and parts 2 and 3), but in short, your latch-arm and catch are meant to latch the gate, not stop it; a gate stop will – and will protect your hardware from damage caused by a gate slamming shut (not to mention, keep your warranty valid).
