      • Modern & Contemporary Gate HardwareThere has been a big hole in the market where contemporary and modern gate hardware should be. And with all the incredible contemporary architecture out there, and the complementary outdoor structures like gates, modern hardware is sorely needed! We love all things contemporary, so we decided to produce design and produce a line of contemporary gate hardware. We began by introducing the Moda Contemporary Latch in March 2011.  In July, we introduced two modern ring latches with geometric handles and four artistic contemporary ring latches. We plan to develop a few more offerings to round out the selection. All of these latches–and any future additions–can be seen in the Contemporary & Modern Gate Latch section of our site. As far as contemporary gate hardware goes, a well-designed brushed stainless steel cane bolt has always been lacking. For coastal locations, stainless steel is one of the only materials that can hold up to the sun, salt, and water. Our new 316 Stainless Steel Contemporary Cane Bolt is a departure from the average cane bolt. It has a gracefully curved handle that blends into the cane.       • Caring for Bronze HardwareHow to Care for your Bronze Gate Hardware Never use spray or liquid furniture polishes to clean your bronze hardware. These polishes may contain oils which could damage the original patina finish. Instead, use a microcrystalline wax. In climates with higher humidity, coastal areas, or areas with a higher concentration of airborne pollutants, cleaning and waxing may be needed twice a year. Applying Wax All bronze darkens with age, however waxing may slow the process of oxidation. To apply the wax, you need two 1- to 2-inch paint brushes that will be used only for cleaning bronze. Do not use brushes that have been used for other purposes as chemicals may remain in the bristles and transferred to the patina finish, may cause permanent discoloration. Start by applying a protective circle of tape around the metal ferrules that hold the bristles in the brushes you are using. This will help prevent scratching of the surface when applying the wax and when dusting. Wipe bronze free of-any dust and fingerprints using a clean, dry, cotton cloth. Use one of the brushes to remove dust from small crevices or hard to reach places. Use “Renaissance” wax, or other “microcrystalline” waxes, because they…

    • About UsThe idea for 360 Yardware came out of my work with a prominent wooden gate company. I focused my time on the hardware sales for clients’ gate orders. I became nearly obsessed with gate hardware–where to find it, how to use it, which styles complemented which gates. In early 2007, I created 360 Yardware to offer customers a wide selection of artistic and quality hardware for their wood gates. Together with my husband, Paul, a gate builder himself, we love to talk with clients about their projects and how to best accentuate their outdoor decor. Having been a buyer of gate hardware myself, I know what a hassle it can be to piece together all the components you need for your gate. What we’ve done is take some of the thought out of decorative and functional gate hardware. We’ve created packages of hardware, including hinges, latches, and gate stops, so that you don’t have to spend the time.     • Shipping Rates & PoliciesNow shipping to Canada!! Continental US: Each product you order is shipped directly to you by one of our manufacturers or directly by 360 Yardware. Ground service is standard. Products ship via UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, USPS Priority Mail, or for oversized items, another LTL trucking company. Shipping rates are based on the price of the items you have ordered. Alaska and Hawaii: Ground service is not available. Shipping totals will add $15.00 to cover additional air charges. Canada: 360 Yardware ships orders to Canada via UPS International Standard service. Shipping charges are based on the weight of the items in your order. You, the customer, are responsible for any duties or taxes associated with your order.     • Return Policies, Damaged Merchandise, and WarrantiesReturns For hardware that is uninstalled/unused and resellable, there is a 25% restocking fee on all returned goods. Customer is responsible for return freight charges.  Damaged/defective merchandise will be replaced or refunded, per the customer’s preference. Return authorization must be received by contacting 360 Yardware (1-866-923-YARD or sales@360yardware.com). Damaged Merchandise Our merchandise is packed by experienced packers using standard packing methods and materials approved by Carriers. Carriers are liable for damage in transit, concealed or apparent. Please examine the shipment at once. Report any damage to the delivering carrier within 48 hours. They will make an inspection report. Send this report along with other shipping papers to the carrier with claim. Please notify the manufacturer of the product directly of any damage for goods received via UPS/DHL/FedEx. Please also notify 360 Yardware so that we might be sure your claim is resolved by the manufacturer. IMPORTANT: Damaged merchandise must remain in the original master carton with all packing material from the carton. UPS/DHL/FedEx will inspect the damaged merchandise and the carton and authorize pick up accordingly.
